Hard And Heavy Review - The Empires of the Worlds

“When Biomechanical sent me their 2001 demo Distorted back in 2002, I was pined down by the extreme insanity of this 5 piece from the U.K. its now 2005 and Earache Records has just sent me their 2nd album The Empires Of The Worlds. Biomechanical haven’t missed a trick on this spectacular album. The music that Biomechanical create is a blend of Judas Priest and Pantera with symphonic overtones with singer Jon K’s vocal style being a mix between Rob Halford and Phil Anslmo, the end result is devastating and has to be heard to be believed. In my mind Metal has been crying out for a band like Biomechanical, but is the world ready for the onslaught of The Empires Of The Worlds? Only time will tell. The album rounds it self out with the 4-part track Absolution.” – 100/100
